So I registered through a center because I don't have a cc (testing from south asia) so when i went to take the exam today i found out they'd switched my middle name with my last name and my last name was my middle name. Like on my admission ticket the name was right but on the roll thingy the center has my title was switched with my middle name. So in the exam booklet i wrote my name as invigilators said and not how it was on the admission ticket.
Am I in trouble? Will the cancel my scores or something? I'm really worried and I don't even know why this happened

That’s weird, man…but I’m pretty sure during the SAT they tell you that if the info on your ticket isn’t correct, you’re supposed to do something, but I can’t remember what.
Call the College Board and tell them. They’re annoying to deal with on the phone because you have to yell at them to make them do anything (true story; I’ve been there), but eventually you can get this resolved.

Call the SAT student customer service number and tell them what happened. They will help you sort it out.

The instructions for filling out your name on the answer sheet are to MATCH your ADMISSION TICKET even if the name on the ticket is wrong.

However, it is quite understandable that you would do as you did. In point of fact, the Test Supervisor checking your ID and admission ticket should have noted this discrepancy at that time and clearly that didn’t happen. The test supervisor is also supposed to check the name to be sure it is correct. So a number of things fell through the cracks for you–but again, SAt testing is a high-stakes, high-stress situation for testers and test-takers, so it is all understandable.

Call soon. Good luck.

So I called them and asked if such inconsistencies in my name would mean my scores are canceled and they said they are not allowed to tell. Its not even my fault! the test center had the order of my name messed up and the test supervisor said I should write it as they had it. I’m worried
