Anyone feel free to post about how it's ridiculously nerve-wracking to play this waiting game!
I thought it was a good Jan 26 test, but it was my first one. I averaged 2290 in the blue book practice tests (I took 8) and I think the SAT may have gone worse :(. I know I missed some questions. I need to know how I did!!! asdfghjkl

You should have no nerves; you obviously have many testing dates left to rewrite if you don’t do well. Me? Well this was my last date to write for transfer admission… hopefully I do better than the 2160 I got last time…

2290 and stanford? hah

I’m so nervous too!
And umm with a 2290, your SAT score definitely won’t be the thing keeping you back from Stanford…

I mean, most people who get in have a 2320, but you’re not that far off.

“I mean, most people who get in have a 2320 . . .” FALSE

The average SAT score at Stanford is 2185. “Most” (50% + 1) would be 2180 or higher.

(Math 735, CR 720, W 730)

yeah i hope it goes well #6moredays

C’mon a 2290 will not hold you back from Stanford, especially if it’s a one and done. My opinion is that they’d rather see a one time 2290 than a five time 2400, which is why they ask to see all your scores.

I know a 2250 currently at Stanford. Don’t give up.

Ughhhhhhhh. This was my last possible sitting. 4 days to go before we find out!!!

Critical reading skills definitely should improve, but how much depends on the person. Writing is just grammar, so if you’ve worked on your grammar then it should improve. Why not just do some practice tests and find out?

For anyone wondering, my prediction skills are spot on. I got a 2290! So I’m moderately happy but I’ll defs be taking it again.
