Hi! I'm going to be a junior soon and i'm thinking about taking the SAT either on October or Nov. I took the sat prep class this month and idk if I should really take the test on October. Everyone in my prep class is pretty much taking it on Oct. But i'm not sure since my score is pretty low. Also, i'm planning to take the subject test ( language) on november and I think the date for the subject test and the SAT is the same? :0
My practice SAT test score was 1700. First time i took the practice one, i got 1370 lol. I didn't study that much and I really need to.. I hope i can get my score up to 2000. (:
I live in cali and my dream is to go to UC Davis. I think it's too hard for me but i should try my best ! So, what do you guys think? Should i take it in october or november? oh and um, english is my third language. so i pretty much suck at the SAT except the math. Should i try out the ACT?

When you decide to take it for the first time is a personal choice. Many don’t do so before spring semester junior year but if you feel you are ready now then do so. In choosing, be aware that it is true that the SAT and SAT subject tests are always given on the same test day and you cannot take both on the same day.

i would suggest waiting a bit before taking the SATs. if you’re a junior, people usually don’t take the SATs until the spring. you want to be in the best shape possible before taking the SATs and you don’t want to take it too many times.
