thanks alot!

I’ve taken both the SAT and the ACT, and for me, I find the ACT easier. It might just be a mind set thing, because I know that I if I answer incorrectly on a question, I won’t get points off. However, I found that I had much less time on the ACT, particularly on the science and essay portions.

The main differences between the SAT and the ACT are:
Math – The SAT goes up to Algebra 2 level math questions and the ACT includes questions up to trigonometry math questions. Depending on your level of aptitude in math, I would factor that into your decision.
Essay – The SAT essay prompts are more different, IMO, than the ACT prompt questions. For example, the prompt I had for the April ACT was about whether or not textbook use for high schoolers was outdated. SAT prompts are more like whether you can use an ends to justify the means or whether or not it is better for people to have limited choices in life.
Science – The SAT does not include a science section. However, even if you were bad at science (although I know you’ve said that you are good at it), this shouldn’t stop you from taking the ACT. The types of science questions are mostly graph/chart interpretations and analyzing passages from two scientist’s views.
Scoring – As mentioned before, the ACT does not penalize for incorrect answers. The SAT, however, takes off a quarter point for incorrect answers.

I’d recommend just trying sample questions from both and getting a feel of their formats, before choosing the one you believe you will perform better in.

Good luck!
