SAT or ACT??!?!?!

I have a 2160 on my SATI and a 33 on my ACT...
which score should I send???

Also, do college actually evaluate ACT scores by individual scores, or do they just look at the overall composites??

thanx in advance and Merry Christmas!!!

the two scores are pretty comparable, so why not send both.

I saw a "conversion table" on the College Board website converting between SAT and ACT scores a few months back. Do a search for it. It'll better tell you how the two scores correlate. I will look for the link as well for you.

Also - some schools prefer the SAT and others prefer the ACT - so check with the school on what to send. But sending both is the safe thing to do.

alright thanx,

but another question, I thought that a 33 was given more weight than a 2160...

I know that a 2160 is about bottom 25% for most ivies, but a 33 is about 50%,
hence, shouldn't I send just the 33 and my SATII scores (mathIIC800, BioE770)?

Send both. That way they see both. They are each good, why would you want to exclude one?

collegeboard will send all SATs you have on file. So, if you send your subject tests, the schools will also receive your 2160. That actually happened to me, i got a 35 on the ACT, but college board sent my low SAT score along with my subject tests.
