Recently, I heard that ACT tests are easier than SAT.

Can anyone explain me the good/bad side of SAT and ACT tests?

Can anyone explain me the good/bad side of SAT and ACT tests?

It depends on you personally. I, for one, am much better at the ACT test, while some of my friends are far better at the SAT.

ACT is more curriculum focused, and contains a science section. While i find the problems easier, it is very time restricting and many people do not finish all the questions. If you are able to work quickly then this is probably the better test.

I didn’t really focus on the SAT, but the focus seems more for the english student, with an extra emphasis on vocabulary.

BEST way to find what is better for you is to take some practice tests of each type. The ending scores from each can be converted to a comparable form and that can help you decide.

Some people found one test to be easier than the other, others found it the opposite. At the end, the scores are based on the curves (percentage distribution). It does not matter if it is an easier or more difficult test, ACT or SAT. Just try both at least in practice to see which format you perform better. My D hates SAT that the section go back and forth. Also, there is a science section in ACT but not SAT. That also may affect your performance in the test.

ACT is more curriculum focused and you really have to keep up a good pace. SAT has questions that you can figure out even if you have not been presented the information in class. Some people are good at the process of elimination. You really have to take a few practice tests and see which one fits you. You might be good at both! Best of luck.
