Hello, I am an international student. I have applied to 6 universities before November and I have submit all my documents except for my SAT/ACT score. I have contacted the universities and they have told me that they will be waiting for my test scores before reviewing my application.
I have registered for ACT exam on December 12th, and while checking the website it mentions that the scores will be out within 5-6 weeks. I could register for SAT exam and the results will be out 23rd December. My question is should i register for both of them, or stick to the ACT? My concern is that the ACT results will be out late and i will miss some of the deadlines.
Another question is if i decide to do SAT but my score is below average, and my ACT score is really high. Will they wait for my ACT scores to be out or just give me a reply based on my SAT?

They may start the review once they received your first score. Nevertheless, you are either applying to rolling or regular decision that have a later deadline. The later score will still be considered (unless rejected from rolling). For ACT, if you choose the free score report, it should be available to school around 3 weeks after the test.
