SAT or ACT?

I hope people won’t think I’m stupid for posting this because I truly am conflicted, and my guidance counselor only offered vague advice. I don’t know if I should send my SAT scores or my ACT scores to colleges…or both??? They are as follows:

1st SAT
780 R 610 M
3rd SAT
730 R 760 M
which brings me to a total superscored of 1540 (780 R 760 M)

1st ACT
35R 35W 34S 29M for a composite 33
2nd ACT
35R 36W 29S 32M for a composite 33

Should I send my SAT? My ACT? And if I do send my ACT, which one do I send???

Again, I’m sorry if this is a silly question.

Not all schools superscore the SAT. For those school that do, I vote to submit the SAT. For those schools that don’t, I would submit both ACT scores.

ACT is better if SAT not superscored. However, you may want to submit both ACT score reports as they complement each other in Science and Math which means you need to pay twice. For SAT, the last composite of 1490 is almost as good as your ACT 33 and you just need to pay once for all SAT scores.

@billcsho @ThinkOn All the schools I’m applying to allow SAT superscore but none of them allow ACT superscore.

@tupac4 Then I vote to submit the SAT scores. Polish your essays and good luck!

If they do superscore SAT, then for sure submit the SAT. Otherwise, you would need to pay triple for all the ACT and SAT.
