SAT or ACT

I got a 2080 on my SAT, but I also got a 33 on my ACT. I want to use the ACT score because it's better, but I have to send my SAT I test scores when I send my SAT II's. My question is will they use the 33 ACT score because it's higher or will they prefer the SAT score because more students submit it.

Every college and university in the USA that requires a standardized test score for admission will accept both the ACT exam and the SAT exam. They will use your higher score for admission because it will make them look better when they calculate their admissions statistics to report to all of the organizations that create college/university ranking lists (you can read all about this at a very funny blog written by the head of admissions at GMU [Should you take the ACT or the SAT, and new score policy explanation « Not Your Average Admissions Blog “A Beneath the Surface Look At Everything College Admissions (with a few shameless plugs)”](http://notjustadmissions.■■■■■■■■■■■■■/2008/08/28/should-you-take-the-act-or-the-sat-and-new-score-policy-explanation/) ). Send them both sets of scores.

yes, as momof1 says, send both! unless your school states they don’t “superscore” they’ll take the best.
