although i'm one of the top students at school, my gpa is around 3.5, which looks really low compared to many others i see here.
but my all of my sat scores are either 780 or above that, which kinda confuses me. cos the schools that look for those sat scores also look for >3.9 gpas. so i don't knoe how to make my college list =((
please help me!!! what should i do???

Keep in mind alot of the people here with their 4's and 2400's and 35's are applying to elite IVY's Colleges usually prioritize in this way:
1. GPA
2. SAT/ACT
3. Essay/Interview
4. EC's
5. Recomendations

how about some small elite liberal arts colleges?? how would they consider good sat scores?

Not above your GPA. GPA in almost every case comes first but it certainly is not the say all factor. an average GPA can be overlooked with good SAT's/EC's and standardized's. But dont worry a 3.5 is very strong for 95% of colleges out there along with 700+ on your SAT subjeect areas you shouldnt have a problem finding a plce to continue your education

What is your rank?

my school does not rank :(
