Should I take the SAT again in June or should I take the SAT II's in US History (have taken AP) and Math Level I?

I want a SAT score near 2000, about 640 in each section at least. Rising HS Senior, need help asap.

umm… you should definitely make your SAT I score better before you take SATIIs. the SAT II scores are considered “Extra” tests because before they even look at your SATII scores, they look at your SAT I score first so you should work on your SAT I score. the Writing section and the Math section scores should be really easy because all you have to do is memorize the formulas and the grammar rules

It would be better to take SAT2s when you have the info fresh in your mind- take SAT2s in June and October/November SATs

Are you in US History? AP?

Are you taking the AP exam? What level of Math are you in?

I would take the SAT IIs in June while its fresh in my head. I don’t know how busy you are in May, but many students have APs and term projects, so some don’t have much time to study. If you’re one of those people, you might want to consider retaking the SAT I in October. If you work on a 25 minute section each day over the summer, by the October test, you would be a lot more prepared.

I am taking Trig/PreCalc CP, non honors.

I have math in my head right now, I should take the test, right?

bump im interested too , not too sure how my math II and Bio will turn out so i too would like more opinion that situation.

bump bump answer me please!

I’d suggest getting a review book (Barrons is good) and then just look over the material - if you know most of it then it would probably be best to take it now while you still have it in your head, however if you don’t know a lot of it it might be better to study over the summer, assuming you’re willing to put forth the time.

Sign up for the SAT Subject tests and also sign up for the June ACT, although I think you might have to pay a late fee. You might end up doing better on the ACT than on the SAT and this option would allow you to still take SAT II’s in June. Good luck.
