SAT or SAT subject test?

<p>I'm planning on applying to several UC's in november, and I need to either a) improve my current SAT score of 1850, or b) take subject tests to improve my chances of getting in. I can't do both because I want to concentrate on one to do better</p>

<p>My questions are, is the november SAT too late for the UC application deadline?
and which option would be better for improving my chances of getting into UC's?</p>

<p>If you don’t have any subject test, then take subject test.</p>

<p>Just be aware that you are not limited to November tests. The UCs application deadline of Nov 30 is not the test score deadline and they accept through the Dec tests. So consider in making the choice that you actually have two more test dates to possibly take tests.</p>
