I don’t think the January 13 date is correct.
I am giving it tomorrow (10/06) and I have been told that a photo is required or we are not allowed to let them in

I would show up anyways. I wasn’t told about the required photo starting in Jan. I was told it starts now. I was told that even if I know a kid I can’t let them in. Bring the admission ticket and your id’s and maybe even tell the proctor you couldn’t print it out but ask if they can copy your driver’s license and send it in with your test. Don’t give up, I have had students show up without id’s in the past, or have forgotten calculators, pencils etc and found a way to help them. Maybe because it is the first time a photo is required they can be more lenient. There is also a head quarters the proctor can call to ask them. Make sure your tell them your tried and tried to get the photo to print on the admission ticket so they know it is actually their problem. I am sure if you had trouble some of the other thousand upon thousands of test takers have also.

BTW, I was told to be there at 7:00 am tomorrow so you may want to show up about that early also so you can talk to the person in charge. Don’t wait until the last minute and hold everyone else up.

When I registered my daughter for the October test (which is tomorrow) I couldn’t upload a photo either. I didn’t have one with a high enough resolution. However, the College Board website stated photos would not be needed until Jan. 2013. It is also clearly stated on your ticket. However, my concern is that poorly informed proctors may think otherwise. Mysonsdad’s post seems to confirm my worry.

And relax, we will make this work. I once had a girl who got about 3/4 of the way through a section when she realized she had missed a question and all her answers were one off. We found a way to help her out even though the test is timed.

futurecollegemom:
I am just going by what I was told (I am just a dolt giving the test). Like I said, we will find a way to make it work. We always do. Not to worry. Something comes up every time we give it and we find a solution.

I’m looking at her ticket now, and in the upper left hand corner, where the picture would be, it says “Photo required for all test dates after Jan. 26, 2013”. The test takers will need to show a photo ID as usual, though, but the picture doesn’t need to be on the ticket for tomorrow.
