SAT physics and AP physics

Since that the AP physics test is divided in to two sections starting this year, I’m confused about relation between the SAT 2 physics and the AP physics : 1 and 2.
Does AP physics 1 completely covers all the concepts of the SAT 2? Or does physics 2 covers some of them, too?
I’m kind of confused about this issue, It would be thankful for some clear answer, since my physics teacher won’t give any pieces of advice.

Sorry about that last comment. I was copying and pasting and it never copied

The SAT Physics exam covers both AP Physics C Mechanics and E&M. So if your AP Physics 1 course doesn’t cover both of those in depth, don’t take the SAT exam. I think you are able to take the exam when you have finished Mechanics (and self study E&M)

It also covers extra stuff like Optics and Waves I think.
