**SAT Physics Discussion Thread December 2016 **

How did you guys feel the test was?

Kinda hard

Better than November, but time was an issue again :confused:

Did anyone get three A in a row for the first 3 questions? That’s a little weird to me since I haven’t encountered that kind of set questions before, the one about net force and acceleration when throwing up a ball.
And the one that asks which bulb has changing brightness if the switch S is off? I put all of the three bulbs but not sure.

I did the same thing

Can someone predict the curve for this test? I found it slightly harder than the usual tests :frowning:

It was slightly hard, I didn’t expect time to be such an issue like it was. I couldn’t finish the last two questions and was a bit burned out towards the end(I had just done the MathII as well).

My score will be pretty abysmal but I took it for the sole purpose of seeing which areas I need to practice more, so I can ace the next one in January.
Optics. A bit of thermo. A loooooot of magnetism and some circuits.

Time was an issue tbh. I really had to pace myself towards the end and also missed the last two questions.

Why are all the December Subject Tests threads so inactive?

@samc24 How was your score?

I got 760 - will have to write again in Jan :frowning:

@InfiniteLibrary No one is going to reject you for a 760 Physics subject test, not even MIT. Retaking would look perfectionistic - something that might get you rejected.

@InfiniteLibrary I got a 740 :"( I have no clue how this subject test is consistently beating me.

I’m not sure if I should take it again…

@KG5APR I don’t need this for US admissions - I already got an 800 in Math 2 and Chemistry. I need an 800 for some other universities that I’ll be applying to in my home country. I need a perfect score in that :frowning:

@samc24 That’s a perfectly good score! But if you’re writing again - good luck.
