Hey guys! i took the sat physics 11/5/11 and i was wondering what the curve will be like. i skipped like 10... and i dont know if i got any wrong... :( if previous takers would like to share their scaled score and raw score, that would be much appreciated. thanks!

I could complete till no. 71 and till that, I already had skipped 3. So,a total of 7 skips and many wrongs (I am sure about that) for me.
I would be more than happy with a 720+

you did slightly better than me. i skipped around 10 and idk how many wrongs. but i hope the scaled score is more lenient. and i also hope that the raw score conversion chart in the PR book is true (it says u can get a raw score of 63 and still get 800)

Nope, an 800 would be like 65-66 raw points, in my opinion. Though, you may wanna check other resources.

this makes me feel a hell lot better. i skipped 8 total and no idea how many mistakes. i just hope the curve will stoop low enough for me to get 700+ :(

I hadn’t taken a single practice test so, naturally, I was surprised by the physics test. Questions were quite different than what Spark notes had offered.

^the questions were different from the practice books too. and though the pattern matched the practice tests the actual questions were hell more confusing and time consuming (or that’s my defense for messing it up :|)

i skipped 35, may be i did 25 wrongs!!! i am planning to give SAT II again. Also I have given both Math I and II. So, I am confused what would be done with me because I had registered for Physics, Chemistry and Math II. In both Math I am sure to get 800, but Physics will surely make me cry.

i know! i took another sat ii test on the same day and im pretty sure i got like an 800 on it but i cant cancel scores bc i would have to cancel both of them…i hoping hoping hopingggg to get 770+…

I only used the sparknotes practice tests and thought they were a hell of a lot harder than the actual test. I only skipped the one capacitor question.

@ILoveRobots: dude, don’t get the rest of ours morale down than it already is.

@all hey brothers and sisters, When will the petty scores come out? Just want to get it out of my head… once it for all.

^the doomed day of November 24 i guess. Still got a week and a half to go through -.-

I’m pretty sure it’s 11/22

22? my organizer at collegeboard says 24! :|

yaaa. it was 22. :(

sooo how much SAT II scores does it take to screw my chances? i took three tests and though i got above 700 in all of them, i was hoping for 800 in Math IIC and Chemistry (which i obviously didn’t get!!) :(

how much did you get exactly? I gave mine in october… ANd mine was lower 700 in physics.

I didn’t get perfect scores either, yet I never expected them. :-)

so wise of you specific :P

Physics 720, Chemistry 740 and Maths IIC 780. not bad enough to mope over but not good enough to be happy about. and my essays are not too spectacular either. so how screwed am I exactly?

@specific: happy for you. i did better than i expected in physics. it may sound nuts but i am sadder about my scores in chemistry and maths. :(:(
