I am in H-Physics atm so I am self-studying some topics (Magnetism, Optics, etc.) for this test

With nearly a week left, I am on Chapter 17 of 19 on the Barrons book (haven't yet taken a practice test). I plan to take a test on Sunday and on Monday.

Are there any other resources I can use to help with studying?

I recommend Princeton Review over Barrons for Physics- it has much better and much more useful explanations!

Yeah that’s what I heard… I am already done with reading the Barrons book and have used Sparknotes to help support what I am learning.

Are the tests from Barrons good at all? Which one do you recommend I take?

My son used Princeton Review and Sparknotes and received an 800 on the physics subject test. Good luck.

Oh ok thanks snowbeltmom!

Wow, I was in the same position as you this year. I also was in H-Physics, so I had to cover, everything non-mechanics. But don’t panic. I got a 790 on the May 2011 test. I used Sparknotes, mainly for tests. Kaplan was easy…too easy. I recommend Princeton Review. Its thick but it works. I can’t judge how accurate the practice tests are for Princeton-review, but I can say that it helped me with its explanation.
Good Luck. Don’t Panic on the test. A lot of it will catch you off guard. Just try your best, and the score will reflect that.

^^ Thanks norvasc6

Good to see that someone in H-Physics did well on the SATs
