hello all, im an incoming junior in august 2012.
i want to study for the SAT's over the summer break, and i need to know what to buy to prepare!

i see all these parts to the SAT and so many book, i cnat afford 30 books, and obviously, cannot read all of them.

what should i buy? i just want to cover every section of the SAT to get a GREAT score

i heard kaplan is good for studying, but theres this collegeboard, "blue book" but im afraid its outdated.

sincerely, kossiii.

You should use the CollegeBoard’s “Blue Book” (The Official SAT Study Guide). It has ten practice tests produced by the college board, which administers the actual SAT. These practice tests are very similar to the real SAT. It’s the real deal.

I would also suggest maybe getting a test-prep book if you want to study vocabulary and also some strategies. But for practice tests, stick to the blue book.

Keep reading over the summer; it will help your reading comprehension.

The Blue Book is not outdated, the new edition is relatively new.

Good luck!
