Okay, so January 2013 was the first time I took the SATs and I got a 2280. I got a 800 in writing, a 750 in math, and a 730 in reading. Since my goal was a 2300, I have to retake the SATs. What would be prep books I could use to raise my math score from a 750 to a 800 and to raise a 730 in reading to a 800?

And also, I heard that this session's curve was terrible. Is this true?

I’ve heard that Gruber’s and Dr. Chung’s are really good SAT math prep books. Could you suggest the best one for when you’re scoring very high but can’t get a perfect score?

Could you also suggest reading prep books from when you’re scoring in the 700s but can’t get a 800?

I got a 49/12 (-0) on writing, -3 on reading, and -2 on reading, if that helps.

@aria123 -3 on reading and -2 on reading? kind of confusing, if you ask me. Besides on that topic, Aria is right. Gruber’s and Dr. Chung’s are the top ones out there.

Yeah I took one practice test in this blue book and it didn’t have any explanations or anything; it only had the practice tests which was good but not the explanations… So would like a Barron’s book be good? Any more suggestions?

Barron’s for “learning”… BB for practice… ALL the prac you can manage to do (preferably past tests )… and make sure you go over EACH AND EVERY MISTAKE… AND UNDERSTAND THEM! feel free to post here anything you can’t understand at all…

That’s what I mostly did…
Wish you the best XD
