SAT Prep Books

I want to buy some SAT books, but I am overwhelmed by the number of books to choose from. Which books did you feel were the best for you (besides the Blue book)? Right now im scoring in the 1900s and im really trying to improve that score.

Help Please

Official SAT Guide by CollegeBoard (MUST)
Barron's Math Workbook (I LOVE IT! .. plus great reviews on it)
Barron's 2400 (No practice test, but GOOD book, also has a lot of good reviews)
Sat Online Course (There was a post giving free codes!, lots and lots of practice with explanations to the Blue Book, ANOTHER MUST)

EDIT*: To improve CR, read from newspapers or online. (NewYork Times' Opinions , Economist, ETC.)

thanks soprolahh

Also, are prep books with strategies and stuff more effective than just doing practice tests? I'm wondering if I should get PR's 11 Practice Test

Get the 10 real sat practice test, the prep for the older version of the SAt. A lot of the stuff like SC, passages and math are similiar and can definitely help. And the online course is a must, Some of their CR are harder and for extra hard math problems to prep u for the last couple in each section : www.satmathpro.com....don't buy the PR 11 unless u finish everything and still needs practice.
