Which SAT prep book more accurately portrays the new SAT? Are the tests in college boards' The Official SAT Study Guide: For the New SAT accurate in question types and difficulty? What about Priceton Review's 11 Practice Tests for the New SAT and PSAT? Which book do you recommend?

Collegeboard's book is pretty accurate.

CB = pretty much the same.
PR = Below

I liked McGraw Hill. Princeton Review's is crap.

I got PR and MgH but both are leant our to people, but i did some of the PR and it sucks. Not sure about the MgH.

I for one liked PR. I have that and Barrons, and Barrons didn't even get the number of sections and the number of questions per section right. In terms of difficulty, Barrons is harder. PR doesn't help with strategies that much, but I feel it did prepare me well in terms of practice tests for the real thing. I also thought that the real test had easier math than PR, and the critical reading was about dead on. Writing was very similar too. If you are looking for strategies, shy away from PR, but if you are an intelligent person who can recognize trends and patterns yourself and are only looking for good practice tests, I'd recommend it.

(PR = Princeton Review)

In PR I was scoring 100 more points than in the CB book. Use the CB book for sure, PR is too easy.

If you are scoring 650,700+ PR will not help... its simply too easy
