SAT prep books??

Ok so...this is my first post on here....I hope im doing it right....(lol thats what she said)

But in all seriousness, im starting to study for the sat. I'm planning on taking it this October. I'll be a junior this coming school year btw. so I'm wondering which books are worth looking at? I've inherited a beat up Princeton Review: Cracking the sat 2007 edition from my cousin. and i was wondering what other books could help me. I've done some research on this site and found that I'll definitely need the BB so I'm planning on getting that but im lost as to where to go next. From what I've researched, people mostly mention: Barron's sat 2009, grubber's (don't know which one exactly), McGraw Hill (don't know which one either), Barron's 2400, and gramatix. So my question is which one would you guys recommend that i start with? Outside recommendations are welcome as well. I'm also limited on funds so i could probably only get like 2 books not including the BB. I am also aware of Xiggi's method and am currently reading through it.

ok lemme tell u some books other than BB that you are gonna want! Direct Hits vocabulary volumes 1 and 2. those two books are gonna helps with vocab a lot. they pick out the most used vocab words used in the SATs. you r also gonna want rocket review revolution which helps with critical reading and grammar. um. for math. i havent started studying for math yet majorly so when i get some good books i’ll let u know.

Alright i’ll definitely look into Reocket Review. Any other suggestions anyone?

How about the College Board review book?

I think the college board books are really good. They just seem like the best pick to me since the publisher is the same company that issues the tests. Idk I’ve tried Kaplan too, and it seems to be quite a bit harder (so I get lower scores), so idk if the questions are more well-rounded or what.
