what are some of the best SAT prep classes? I know that most of you are going to say, "do it by yourself" but I can't. So what are some of the best classes to take?

If you have it in your area, I would recommend using Testmasters. They garuntee a 300 pt increase, and from the first time I took the SAT and the next time I took it, I got EXACTLY a 300 pt increase on my SAT score.

Do you mind tiffy telling us your first score? I think this could be accomplished with a lower start point…would it really be possible though to go from, say 1400 to 1600?

Does anyone know if the testmasters online course is any good?

If not, do you know any online private tutoring programs that are good. Since I’m an international, I don’t have access to any prep classes, and barely anyone in my area knows what the SAT is!

i’ve never taken an online course or any other prep course, but I got a call from prepme a while ago… I think my friend gave them my number…:[ anyway, the guy that called was a student from U of Chicago, and he told me that prepme only uses real tests from the CB for prep… It’s cheaper than other courses, and I thought it’d be pretty good for someone who could use the course. I’m not planning to take any courses, but if they get you motivated, I think it could be a good investment. However do not take courses from the big three…

Testmasters kind of rigs your score. They make you take a practice SAT the first day and I got like a 1760 which was my sophmore PSAT score, and I already got a 2030 on my March SAT.
But it did help a lot, I managed to go up to a 2220 even though I was making 2000-2100’s on my practice tests.

is the Princeton Review good?
