Since I am a current sophomore and have been browsing the site, I have become very interested in ways to score high on the SAT. If I were to start preparing now in order to score a 2200+, what would you reccomend I do? I am naturally reading and writing oriented and when I took the PSAT last year, I "scored higher than" 75% of sophomores on Critical Reading and 75% on writing. I had a bad math score though and only scored higher than about 39%. Isn't math the easiest thing to improve? Algebra was hard for me, but geometry is very easy if that helps. Thank you!

I will cross post this on the ACT thread

I'm a sophmore as well (193 PSAT last year-hoping for 205 plus this year and 215 plus Junior year). I'm just concentrating on my AP classes and reading as much great lit as I can-which I believe is the best way to prepare for critical reading and writing (the more you have read, the greater amount of sentence structure and grammaratical errors you can recognize). For math, which is not my strong suit, I'm just going to review a lot of basic SAT-type problems as time goes on. I'll probably buy a test book or two, or just borrow some. Also, sign up for the SAT question of the day on the collegeboard website. Hoping for around 2300 plus as well! Good luck!

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
