Hey guys.. I never planned to take the SAT i already took the ACT but now im going to have to take it... I just took a practice test today not touching SAT before.. i got a 630 on CR and 590 on the MATH.. math was due to geometry I had an amazing geometry course in my HS :)...
So ive been reading up and basically everyone has diff opinions.. like Barrons, Grubers, PR, etc...
I am going to get the blue book and aside from that what should I get, what i need is this:
A solid review in Geometry basically..and wouldnt mind some general SAT math.
And vocab for the CR i guess..
So what book should be good for this.. Barrons/Grubers/Underground/Rocket review, etc..? and for the CR like the vocab is in the books.. or there are separate lists which I can get?
Thanks a lot I really appreciate your help.

Barrons, PR and RR. (BB is must)
I heard abt Test Master's List, u can give Sparknotes and RR's word lists a try (RRs word list has been posted in CC in some previous thread)

hey thanks.. but I think I will be able to get only one book.. so which one is good out of them?

Are you aware of what will be given before the maths section on the SAT? (Included are 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangle information but there is much more.) Knowing that will help; you will need to know how to apply that information but also that it is there.

Also, I have to share something I learned with you just today. laughs Related to SAT Geometry! The distance formula is actually just the Pythagorean theorem, so that's one less thing to memorize. I run across a distance problem in every or almost every practice test.

Edited to add: If you are getting only one book, get the official book from College Board. You can also study up at the library.

do u have BB? Get it first. That's the most important one. Then, I'd say Barrons.

thanks guys... asif there are two barron books.. SAT 2400 and how to prepare for the SAT.. u can see them here:

which one is the one that I want? also is the math workbook good?
Thanks

well, evryone in CC recommends the Barrons 2400. I used Barrons math workbook, 4th book in the list.

^ just to add to Carpe Aeternum -
a nice connection between the slope and distance formulas:
slope = rise / run
distance = sq.root( rise^2 + run^2)
