SAT Prep in Bangalore?

Anyone have any idea about SAT Prep in bangalore?

Thanks!

google T.I.M.E

is it good?

yes it is good.

Ivyaspire is brilliant!
Also has AP too!

^ridiculously expensive though, so ive heard. not worth it IMO. just buy a practice book

^that’s exactly what I did!

they have ap classes too?

Yep they do!

No class is going to be as good is studying on your own - get the Barron’s and Princeton Review book; that’s all I’ve used and I’ve given 8 AP exams so far.

^ id much rather self-study too.
how did you score on those APs tastycles? (lol @ username:P) do you go to an international school?

All 5’s :D

I attend an SAT coaching in Bangalore, Kaplans. It sucked. To be honest there’s no point of spending all those amounts of money over SAT coaching. There’s a lot of prep needed for Reading as our education doesn’t prep us for that kind of testing. But you can do it on your own as well. The only good thing about those centres were the amounts of mock tests available. But you can do those on your own as well… So I would say overall, coaching for SAT isn’t worth it

Absolutely not worth it
Buy the book and spend a couple of hours reading it everyday, you should be fine
All you need is practice really

The place you are looking for is AIM Global Education. The SAT coaching in this institute is amazing. Thorough guidance from all the teaching staff helped me improve my SAT scores by 450 points. And my SAT subject test scores were amazing.

I don’t know about Bangalore, but in my city(Trivandrum) all the coaching centers were pathetic. I highly doubt there are any dedicated SAT trainers in India.I’d recommend self-study. I increased my scores by about 400 in 5 months just by doing a lot of official practice tests and using a few guide books. I’d suggest Erica Meltzer’s Writing book, Direct Hits and Dr. Chung’s 52 tips.

My experience at Aim Global Education in Bangalore was great. Since the beginning, Abhishek, the proprietor, has been a great motivator, a tough task master and a dedicated Maths Tutor. In a short period of 4 weeks Abhishek & English Tutor Padmini Ma’am helped me improve my SAT scores from 2000 to 2150 and ACT score from 30 to 34. I thank both of them for their support.

AIM Global Education has been an amazing center when it comes to all kinds of coaching. I go there for SAT and IB Math HL. Abhishek, the owner, has been an amazing tutor and definitely helped me pull up my scores. The English coach, Ms. Padmini, has also been amazing for SAT English. They have all kinds of coaching available - you name it and they have it. If you want great scores, go to AIM Global Education.

Its interesting how AIM Global Education is advertising on CC. Its clear that they made fake accounts and wrote. I am a junior (grade 11) student at TISB. I recently got to know that Paramount Global from Hyderabad and Mumbai now have a branch in Bangalore. I knew they were the #1 prep in south India as my friends attended it, so went to them for SAT prep. It was amazing…check 'em out.
