Sat prep

I am taking the SAT tomorrow. I took it once my soph year last year and scored horribly. I took it as a Junior a couple months ago and scored a 1510.. (sad face). I am struggling with the critical reading and some of the writing. Do you guys have any tips on vocab and approaching the questions regarding long passages? Please and thank you all.

For vocab, it’s either you know the word or you don’t. Try going over a few SAT words, you can get them offline or something.

For long reading passages, definitely read the question before reading the passage. Skip main idea questions, and then complete questions that refer to a specific line as you read. And then one you’ve done all those and then read the entire passage, you can complete the main idea questions. This method is very efficient and allows you to glean information clearly.

Hope this helps, good luck tomorrow!
