Sat Prep

what kind of prep do you guys do to get ready for the PSAT and/or SAT? self-prep? with PR? tutors...one on one or class? Most kids in my school who have done extremely well on these two tests did self-prep, but that's only because they're gods at everything they do. For the average joe, what do you guys recommend? What have worked for you? I'm aiming >2000 thanks in advance!

I think most people self-prep…start out with some good books and get familiar with the test, and then you’ll know what you need to do. The best strategy/overview book to start with is Cracking the SAT (the PR one). It has good tests too, with answer explanations.

You also HAVE to get the College Board tests. The book has no strategy and no explanations, but people here will help you if you can’t figure it out!

also maybe you should try the 99 dollar PR online course, that possibly could up your score if you work hard at it.

thanks you guys.
Would you actually say that people follow a routine and stick with plan to raise their SAT scores?
Please tell me that I’m not the only one who says I’ll work on it but never do get around to practice for the SAT.
