SAT Problem

Hi There,

On my common app form, I wrote that I will be taking Math 1, Math 2, Physics SAT Subject tests on 26th Jan.

I already have 2 subject tests - 770 World Hist. - 720 Chem.

Do i HAVE to take those SAT subject tests??

I'm thinking of taking Math 1 & 2...but I REALLY REALLY don't wanna take physics....

NEED CC ADVICE URGENTLY!!!!

Haha thank you

You've already got two strong scores from two different subject areas,- so unless your schools require more than two SAT IIs, you don't need to take any more. You could certainly get away with dropping Physics, since you already have one in the sciences, and if you're taking Math II you don't need to take Math I as well. Just e-mail your schools and let them know if you decide to change things, so they're not waiting for scores that won't arrive.

the last poster has it right... if you took chem, you don't need physics. And there is no need to take both math tests (as I was once told by6 wise CC'ers). Go to your test date, take only the Math II (or Math I if you don't think you'll do well on math II) and leave. This is perfectly OK... you will just count as never having taken the other two tests (though you do need to let your administrator know / mark it on the form / whatever they instruct you to do to drop a test)
