SAT/PSAT Prep Classes Comparison

I'm sorry if this question has been asked a lot before, but I couldn't find a good answer on this website..

I'm a sophomore (living in Southern California) and I was wondering if anyone had experience with Elite SAT Prep or Princeton Review, or could possibly compare them for me. Most of my friends have taken Elite, but I'm not sure how it compares to the Princeton. There's also a Kaplan center near my house, and if anyone could give me some information about this center, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm looking to take a PSAT prep course this summer for the October test. I took it in 8th grade and I did very well on the writing and the reading comp (70+ on both), but I really need work on my math skills.

So if anyone could provide me with information about Elite, Princeton, or Kaplan SAT/PSAT prep, preferably from personal experience, that would be great!

Princeton Review is near useless.

Just buy the Blue Book and do it on your own. Or find a private tutor.

Private tutoring looks pretty expensive though. Anyone ever heard of the Elite program/know anything about it? They seem to have an intense summer course.

The best prep class is in your own bedroom; buy The Official SAT Study Guide and keep on completing practice tests. I improved from a 64 (sophomore PSAT) to a 79 (junior PSAT) with this method. No expensive prep classes required.
