My D took the SAT on May 7 of this year, 2016. We had the option of paying an additional $18.00 for the Question-and-Answer Service, to get a detailed look at her test. This meant a hard copy with her questions and answers. Sounded like a great study guide! We had forgotten about it until it finally arrived October 6, FIVE months after that SAT. Since she is a senior and just took her final SAT October 1, I don’t know how useful it is now.
A waste of money for D2017. She’s kinda busy getting her Common App done. Maybe my HS sophomore can take a look at it next year.
@PetulaClark, we feel your pain here. I was in the same boat waiting for 5 months. I took the test with the intention of having the exam as an analysis tool, and then CB posted the exact test online 7 weeks before they sent our paperwork. And they wonder why I talk so poorly of them around here…
@midtntutor Yes, we wish we’d just stuck to the ACT. Because now my D has 2 ‘new’ SAT scores, and 2 old SATs. 4 tests, plus she took the PSAT 3 times. And the SAT ranges we see in guides and college CDS still use the old 2400 scale. The new SATs are running higher, so we have to careful not to be so elated that D scored 150 points higher than on reading and math of old SAT.
