I am taking the SAT October 1, although it will not be the only time I am taking it. The reason for this is to get my bearings and get adapted to the SAT setting. I am not confident at all with the math portion (I am praying for at least a 500) so my score is not going to be that great. Everyone always tells me that it doesn't matter and I know that when I take it later I will do well. Would it look bad if I got a horrible score this time around, but later score in the 2100-up range? I am studying very hard and will be getting a tutor after this SAT.

Also here are my stats (keep in mind that I'm a junior and I am working very hard to get straight A's for the rest of my high school career)

I go to a private Catholic school
Unweighted GPA: 3.7
I don't know how to calculate UC GPA
i had average grades freshman year (1 C first semester and the rest A's and B's), did very bad first semester of sophomore (2 A's, 4 B's and a C), but then got straight A's next semester, which I hope to get this year and senior year.

AP's:
World History - 5
US History - Currently taking
Environmental Science - taking
I am planning to take AP Calculus, AP Latin, AP Psych, AP English, and AP Bio next year

I have been in ASB for two years and plan to run for president for senior year (If I do not win I will still have a position on ASB)

I have been studying very hard and I am aiming for a 32-up on the ACT and a 2100-up on the SAT.

Thanks
