<p>I am applying regular decision and I was wondering, was December 3rd the last SAT testing date or can I still take the January 28th one?</p>

<p>On Vandy's web site it says that December 3rd is the "preferred last date" for Vandy for RD. I don't know what that means exactly. I think that maybe you can submit a January score if it got there in time to be considered. Here is the site link:</p>

<p>Most schools want the December 3rd date because the score will all be sent to them by January 1. You can take the January test date, but keep in mind that your scores will not arrive until middle to late february and your application may have already been read by a few admissions officers.</p>
