so i'm signing up for the SAT and i realized that they'll send up to four scores to any college for free. since i'm a junior, i'm not positive as to where i'll be applying, but should i put in four schools that i'm very interested in? if i send my scores to a college and then end up not applying there, it doesn't affect me does it? and also, i took the SAT in seventh grade and of course didn't get a very high score... will that score be sent to colleges as well?

I don't know the answer to the first question. I've only taken the PSAT :D .

I don't think it would affect you. I don't see how it would.

Colleges look at your highest score. Did you take it in 7th grade for that national talent search contest?

colleges will see all your previous scores.
if you plan to retake in your senior year, there isn't that much point in sending your scores out now, as you will get the four free reports with every test, and it will include this junior year test.

colleges do not see any scores from tests that you took before you entered high school.

if u take it freshmen year and didnt do to well on it will it go against me?
