sat question

i dont think so nikki cuz there was no way of knowing if he was yelling at every news channel or if it was all the time. besides the answer ur talking about wasnt as subtle was u made it.

the anchor was for the first americans/clovis passage

the dissmissive one was for the shopkeepers passage

shopkeppers was experimental!

no it wasnt...shop keepers was definitely real

for the clovis ppl wat was the answer to the first question for that section: what would the authors most likely agree on?

and wat was the answer to the poetry short reading which referred to the sentence "since my mastery of....."

afruff23,

it couldn't have been that the angels were described in an artistic way
because in fact there were no angels; that was a metaphor to describe the ceiling of the library.
The question was why did she describe the ceiling and the library shelves as angels; the only answer is that it conveyed the educational resources well.

Freaks_2007,
for the clovis ppl wat was the answer to the first question for that section: what would the authors most likely agree on?

that was that traveling on ice is hard. the first passage states that the clovis were the first to pass through the North because there was no ice there, and the second passage says since the ice age prevents people from traveling easily, they used boats.

Freaks_2007, I don't know which question you're talking about for the second one.

Lauren A, I think the answer to that was the latter, because the second passage "alluded to" certain critics. The question I think, means "the entire passage is argued in what rhetorical way?" ..the second passage argued by blaming two critics. One of the guys appear in the first passage too but that had almost nothing to do with the entire scope of the argument, just backup evidence.

I might be wrong tho since the second passage did mention in like two, three words that the current media is economically robust... I hope not.

AAAA now I suddenly think I'm wrong:(

wait, what was the anchor one i'm so confused...what was the exact question? and transfer, was the traveling on ice one choice ''C"?

(but then the first passage talked about how profits were dwindling..so that appears on both too.)

yeah C I think. the anchor one was "which would support the author of the second passage"
the second passage talked about how the first Americans arrived not by land but by boat. If "crude anchors" were discovered on the West coast, then definitely it would be supporting evidence..the others all talked about mastodons and stuff.

whew! i thought it was a question i missed and i panicked!
oh thank god!

what about the one question in the lseep resarch section: something like "whats the meaning of the word drive in the context"...was the answer momentum or propulsion?

momentum (to pursue goals and the like)

transder...nah, thx for reply.
for the clovis ppl, the question on which the two authors would most likely agree on, wasnt the answer that the first people primarily fed on mastodon and other large game. the first talked about clovis eating large animals, and the second mentioned mastodon

yes, but it was "primarily fed on mastodon and large game, during their journey to North America" so it was close, but wrong imo.

aww! why couldnt have been propulsion?

anyone remember any math questions (the hard one's) and the answers they got? (besides the one's mentioned in this forum)

what were the choices for the drive question?

propulsion vitality and momentum were 3 of them

thanks.
I put vitality for that one. It seems like a pretty good answer to me
