SAT Question

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer ( while eagerly awaiting their AP scores =)! Anyway, I just took an SAT and on the math I got a raw score of 48 (out of 54 I think). Is that good? I am a sophomore and kind of new do the "new" SAT. Anyones comments would be greatly appreciated! Oh - and I would look at the conversion table, but this test was ripped and I cant find the conversion chart (dont ask =/). Ok, enough of my rant - Thanks!

I got a 48 on the June SAT I math. Depends (as always) on what you want to call good or bad. For my version of the test, the 48 was converted to a 690 on the scale. I was pretty ****ed; I got 5 wrong total. ETS is making the math section harder to get scores in the 700-800 range b/c there are fewer questions and they ditched the quantitative comparisons section(s?). Make a silly mistake and still want to get an 800? Sorry...you'll have to settle for 760 or w/e pleasant number they provide you. :(

Yeah . . . the curve really sucks.
