SAT questions

For those of you who've taken the SAT so far, I have four questions.

One..
For the essay part, does your 25 minutes begin as soon as you turn to the page with the prompt thingy and directions, or do they let you read that page first, then tell you to begin writing and start the 25 minutes.

Two..
Does every SAT have an experimental section?

Three..
After which sections do they give a break, and how long is the break?

Four..
Does everyone in the same room/school have the same test?

I'm taking the SAT May 6.. Mad worried.
Got a 223 on my PSAT but don't know if I can repeat that.
I'm studying vocabulary since CR is my worst section.. And am praying I'll get pretty lucky with the math again. Also praying for a good essay question. Something vague.
I think the last thing I'll do is take practice test #8 in the big CollegeBoard book the weekend before the test, using time restraints and actually writing the essay and filling in the scantron and everything.

Thanks for feedback

one- you open the page, and bam, time starts. shouldn't take you more than a minute to read/comprehend the essay question and start brainstorming.

two- yes.

three- depends on your proctor/school. in my school, there was a 10 minute break between every 2 sections (like 2 sections, break, 2 sections, break, contd.), oh yea, we had a break after essay (essay, break, 2 sections, break, 2 sections, break, 2 sections, break, rest of the sections, since 9 and 10 are shorter.)

four- no, there are at least 2 or 3 copies of the test. sometimes its the same test in different order.

Good luck on the May test. I'm taking it then also.

Wow! I'm jealous of how many break you get :P When I first took the test in January, we got a 5 minute break after Essay & section 1. Then another break after 3 more sections. And a last 1 minute stretch break.

Actually you want breaks but not too many... if you have too many breaks you'd finish at around 1 or 2 in the PM, when you will be VERY hungry and tired

If you study and stay calm it's very unlikely that your SAT score won't be higher than your PSAT performance--which will be really good.

silvermoon, it kinda sucked cause I left the testing room at 1:30 PM.
i was out of it to say the least.
