SAT Ranges

Like many people, I’ve recently gotten back my PSAT scores and wondering how this effects me. My main concern is what this predicts for the future when I take the actual ACT. I’m wondering if anyone knows ranges potentials for the following scores: 1130 total, 550 Reading/Writing, 580 Math.

Sorry, I meant SAT not ACT

What grade PSAT is it? It depends on what grade you are and how much time you have

that being said, you have lots of space to improve! Right now if you took the SAT you should expect a lower score than your PSAT since it is harder then the PSAT but if you practice up with Khan Academy, Princeton Review etc., your SAT Score should increase by at least 200-300 from your PSAT score.
One of my Senior friend got a PSAT score around 1200 and got a SAT score of around 1450ish after Khan academy

And this also being said :stuck_out_tongue: there is really no prediction on how how you would do on the SAT day. Remember, your score is proportianal to the time you put in. I got the highest PSAT score in my school this year (1510) and I had to put in at least 100+ hours on SAT prep over summer.
All I can say for certain is, practice your arse off and you WILL improve! If you ever have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at na4216w@gmail.com

Reemeber, your life isn’t just about SAT!

Look at the percentiles. For example if you are at the 90th on your PSAT, look what the score is for the 90th on the SAT.
