SAT Rank

Where can I find the average SAT scores for public colleges, I want to make a spreadsheet ranking them.

I would think that each college has it on their webpage and also I think college board shows it too, like the middle 50% or something.

Like the above poster said, each college has it and it's probably more accurate, but it's easier to get every college score at Collegeboard.

The 10 highest SAT averages among public universities:

College of William and Mary 1350
Georgia Institute of Technology 1350
University of California-Berkeley 1340
University of Michigan 1330
University of Virginia 1330
University of California-Los Angeles 1300
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill 1300
University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign 1290
University of Maryland 1280
University of Wisconsin 1280

Alexandre isn't Michigan 1380?

I thought it was too for a while. At least, that's what Michigan's website was showing. But it turns out Michigan did not specify that the range it was using was for admitted students. The actual mean was 1330.

what about for all schools?
not jsut public

Wow Alexandre, that's awesome, Michigan is my ultimate dream and I, thinking it was 1380, have been killing myself to get close to that. I just got 1320 and am working really hard for 1400 for next time.

Work on your GPA. If you have a 3.8+ unweighed GPA (with a reasonably difficult content of course), a 1320 SAT score should be enough to get you into Michigan. The University does not place too much importance on SATs. Of course, if you can raise your SAT to 1400, that would really help your chances, but focus more on your GPA.

All the schools? That's quite a list. I am not sure I can get you all the schools, but here's a look at the top 50 or so universities:

As of right now, I have a 4.0 Michigan gpa, with a slight chance it gets down to 3.9 by the end of this year. (3.9 unweighted regular hs gpa) I will graduate with 5 APs (school offers 8, but I hate science), and every possible honors course. Pretty solid ecs, and my grandfather ('35 law), father ('76 lsa) and brother ('07 lsa) are all wolverines. OOS

ps. i know this should be in the michigan forum but i honestly didnt intend on this being an impromptu chances thread.
