SAT Raw scores? There must be something wrong here...

According to:
<a href="http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf</a></p>

An SAT Math raw score of 49 out of 54 would yield 700, for most tests. That is 5 raw points off.

Assuming that a wrong answer means deducting 0.25 raw points, then that would mean a 700 SAT math section would have 20 wrong answers. So if you get 34 out of 54 on the SAT math section, you get 700 points?

I must be missing something here. Because that sounds too good to be true.

Please help.

when you answer a question and get it wrong, u get one raw point off + 0.25, so you get 1.25 off total. When you get a question wrong without answering it, then you will only get 1 raw point off.
In this case 49/54 raw score means that you got around 4 off because 1.25 X 4=5 off which is 49/54 raw score.
