SAT Reasoning Math vs SAT II Math IIc Scores

Let's get a list going, I'm surprised there isn't one all ready (I did search!)

Reasoning Math --- Math IIc
690 --- 800

Copy the list and add yours. (Is mine weird? ;p Damn trick questions in reasoning).

Reasoning: 750
II: 740, but I retook. results still pending

Reasoning Math — Math IIc
690 — 800
750 — 740
790 — 800

And yes, 690 - 800 is a little strange  but I can see it happening if you make dumb mistakes and misreadings often.

It’s not that odd. The Math IIC has a nicer curve; -7 is 800.

If you miss -7 on SAT I Math, you’re down to about 650.

Reasoning - 800
Math II - 790 (retook results pending)

770–730–(results still pending but prob 800)

Reasoning Math — Math IIc
690 — 800
750 — 740
790 — 800
800 — 790
770 — 730

Randwulf: why did you take so many times for Math II? Are those for practical?

^ I don’t know if you are joking or being serious. Those are not Randwulfs tests - he wrote the whole list. The only one that is his is the first one.
I got 750 on the Reasoning. Won’t know my Math II results until 24.

whats the curve? is it really -7? i thought its like -10 for 800.

Math II is usually -5 for 800 (44/50 raw score). I hope it’s more lenient this time :/

reasoning : 750 iic : 760

reasoning: 790
iic: 800

Reasoning Math — Math IIc
690 — 800
750 — 740
790 — 800
800 — 790
770 — 730
750 — 760
790 — 800

plotting reasoning v. math ii shows random scatter, but after throwing out the 690 v. 800, a line of iic score = 1.106(reasoning score) - 87.4468 is produced, with r = .7741 and r^2 of .599. So not a bad correlation; it makes sense that higher reasoning scores = higher iic scores. There’s not really enough data to do any significance testing, though, and it’d be laughable to call this a random sample ;)

800 math 1, and although results are pending, im hoping/expecting 800 math 2 as well.

do you mean 800 on SAT Math Reasoning, or on the Math I subject test?

690 Reasoning – 760 Math II

750 Reasoning – 800 Math II

^Exactly what I am hoping for. I’ve already gotten 750 reasoning, and will get Math II next Tuesday.
