I've been wondering if when you sign up for the SAT, the time you pay something like $40, you are only are registering for the Reasoning Test or the Reasoning Test AND the Subject Tests? If it's the fist one, how and when can I register for the Subject Tests? My guess is that you can register for either three Subject Tests or the SAT itself, and that if, for example, you register for the Reasoning Test in May and you want to take the Subject Tests too, you would have to register again ($40 more). Can someone clarify that for me? Thanks.

When you pay the $43 it's just for the Reasoning Test. You have to register again for Subject Tests, I think it's $21 to register plus like $8 for each test or something like that. Also, you can't take the different types on the same day, only the Reasoning Test OR 3 Subject Tests. Register for subject tests exactly the same way you registered for the Reasoning, just select subject tests instead.

cannot take them on the same day since all tests are offered in the morning, at least in the US. Back ithe dark ages, the Achievement Tests (as they were then called) were offered in the afternoon, so one could spend a day with CB if you wanted.

Note, when you register for Subject Tests you can pick and choose, from 1-3 tests -- you can only take one if you prefer.

Thank you very much. Do you recommend taking all three in one day?
