Hy.This is my first post here and i need your help. I'm an international student and yesterday i tried to register for the November sat. i already had an account on collage board but when i tried to register i couldn't get past the first step because of this message : "Please enter a valid mailing address. A valid address must contain letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, or "/".". I changed my mail address, i checked my spelling, i even set up a new account with a different mail address. the problem persist. What should i do? is this a bug? online registration is the only possibility i have. mail registration would take too long and i don't want to miss the deadline due to technical problems. have you experienced this kind of problems too? post here any ideas, tips or solutions please because i'm starting to freak out. :(

Hi, Xandra_V .
I’m from Venezuela and i have the same problem. No one could give me an answer for this. This’s my e-mail ( alejandrobacasela@hotmail.com ), i’m still going to try if u know how to fix it or the steps to register. Pleaseee! just tell me!. That would be the great help for me.
Good luck!

Aletob18, this thread is a year old.

You might get a better response by emailing College Board.

Aletob18, someone once told me that if you take out the forward slashes from your mailing address and substitute them with hyphens, there won’t be any more error prompts.

Edit: Hey if that doesn’t work try taking out the commas

Hey man, just figured out the problem. Remove all the commas and it will pass.

i 2 faced the problem. just solved it by replacing the (,) and (/) with (-).

Hi,

Mailing adress and email adress are different terms. Do not get confused about that, mailing adress is your homeland.

please can you say in last step\making payment in registering for the sat we should write information about ourselves or about host of credit card

Even I experienced the same problem. I need help too
@Mes1999 you mean for entering your mailing address?
Also, this thread is 7 years old - you generally should start your own thread, and elaborate more on the problem you’re having.
