<p>I have earned my three year bachelors degree in hotel management from an indian university.Can i apply for undergrad programs in usa as a tranfers student?? if so, is it required that i take the SAT's. i have not taken any sat's as it was not required for any of my earlie admissions...pls advise........</p>
<p>There is no one single requirement for the thousands of colleges in the US (just like there is no single entrance exam for ALL the colleges in India)… Actually most colleges in US are more independent than in other countries, in that they set their own admission rules and standards. Therefore, you need to find information and admission requirements for each college you’re considering by contacting them or looking up their websites.</p>
<p>Since the curriculum and college system is very different in US than India, all your undergraduate coursework may not transfer for another undergraduate degree in US. I say your best best would be to apply for a Masters program in US (and since you come from a 3-year degree program, you may have to take some “bridge” courses).</p>
<p>@brutally honest…what are these bridge courses? Are these very few and far??</p>
