^I’ll have to take the SAT 2 in October…I’d prefer them over the SAT.
I’ve decided against giving it again, cause even if I get like a 2300+, chances of getting into the Ivies are pretty low
I think I’ll aim lower, and just apply to the Ivies(Who knows?).
Thanks anyway for the info on the essays, as my writing is good; I only cramped up on the SAT.
BTW, How important are GPA/EC’s compared to SAT? Because I have a GPA of 9.8(10) and my EC’s are okay. My academic performance has been outstanding throughout school.

1950…

disappointed with math though, so i’ll take it again in october for that.

reading: 660 - 91%
math: 540 - 58%
!! writing: 750!- 99% !!

OP,

Your score is good. It is fine if you don’t have time to take it again. Essays are important. Start them early so you have time to work on them.

Usually what grades you get and what classes you take are most important, then test score, then everything else. But this is a big generalization. Every college is different and this info is available in the college’s common data set.

Remember to apply to a broad range of school. Use Naviance if your school provides it. Look at the college web site, google college common data set, etc.
