SAT Retake? NOT A Stupid Question

I'm a junior and I just got my Nov. 3rd SAT scores back and they were as follows;

CR: 690
M: 720
W: 780
Total: 2190

I was extremely suprised because normally in my practice tests the CR was my best section and I consistently got 750s - 800s on the practice tests (I didn't prepare "that" much however for this test since I figured it was still quite early in the year), but does it look weird that I have such a huge seperation between my writing and critical reading score?

I'm thinking about retaking it to raise my Critical Reading score but I'm afraid my writing score will drop due to unlucky circumstances. I <3 Yale. Any advice on retaking and when to retake?

Alot of schools, including Yale and the other Ivy's will superscore/take the highest of each subject from different testings. Because your'e a junior it is well worth it to retake again sometime in the spring. IF you feel confident about raising your CR then you will likely do better in the Spring. Your first scores are really good for a first try.

Retake the SAT please~
