SAT Retake?

<p>I took the SAT in December and got a 2130 (740CR/700M/690W). Would retaking it and getting a lower or equal score hurt me? If so, how much?
Basically, does the amount of times you take the SAT matter at all?</p>

<p>Most colleges will superscore and take the highest score from each section, so there is no downside to taking the SAT again. However, it doesn’t look good to take it more than 3 times.</p>
