<p>I'm RD applicant for Columbia & just got Jan SAT scores. Do I need to rush the report to adcom?
Anybody knows that when will the adcom start to read the application?</p>
<p>Noooo, definitely don't rush your SAT scores! I worked for one of the national test prep companies for a little while teaching SAT classes, and my understanding is that sending your scores expedited doesn't do anything for the colleges because they want to wait to receive the official score reports in a bundle. </p>
<p>Although they usually do start reviewing RD applications a few weeks after the start of the spring semester, they definitely don't make final decisions this early, so I don't think it matters if your scores are a bit delayed in any case. :)</p>
<p>You don't need to rush your SAT scores to Columbia because the last day to send your scores was Feb. 1st and as long as you took the test before Feb. 1 then they will receive it on time.</p>
