I have a problem, I didn't do that great for the June SAT's. I want to apply ED for Fall 08' but want to retake in October. Would Cornell's Admissions mind if I retake the SAT's in October and take the SAT II Math IC in November? I saw the site and it said it is recommended that I take the SAT II tests no later then November.

tough tough...what was your SAT score? i mean is it what you expected?

i read a post, i think LAST year that said that as long as they say no LATER than november, than that is fine.

i am in the same boat with you i'm afraid. except i have totally given up on the SAT I and instead am dealing with SAT IIs

yeah i just called admissions..
my sats dropped 10 pts from the march one. i went up 100 pts in cr, 20 in math, and dropped 100 in writing.. i was like WTH when i saw the writing. for writing i went up 2 pts in essay and dropped like 30 pts in multiple choice.. im such a dumbass. someone please shoot me. i thought i really did good too. i dont think i can make it to cornell. there goes my goal since 6th grade, my passion and want to go to statler hotel school is now broken...

....jimgotkp. i feel exactly the same way. after DYING on the SAT I...i decided HEY my ACT isnt bad, ill just study for that. and by the time the shock of my SAT I had subsided (i.e. YESTERDAY) i got my SAT II scores back today and i thought i did soo well!

nope. i didn't. and now cornell is going to see every single SAT score i have for every subject (SAT I and SAT II) and i really just want to say **** it. i know that I can study for my SAT IIs and my ACT (and I am! oooh i am) but still...it was and IS pretty painful to see all my highschool work and all my high hopes kind of come crashing down thanks to COLLEGEBOARD.

hotel school maybe here i come? I have no idea anymore.

:(

same.. we are screwed. come to purdue with me :(

does all colleges see all the scores of each sat we took? not the highest score in each category?

cornell at least, will see all your scores I believe, but will only count your highest for each category.

standardized tests blow...

i totally agree.
