Sat/satii/ap

Okay. Well this is more about questions than answers. Well for one thing, I'm taking 4 AP Classes: AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP US History and AP English Language. Yeah sure, they're tough. These exams are given on Monday May 1st for AP English, Friday May 5th for AP US, Wednesday May 10th for both AP Chemistry and AP Environment. Well the last two are on the same date! So I'm gonna (I researched it) take late-testing for AP Environmental on Thursday May 18th. Then we got the Big Boy SAT. These are administered 10/8,11/5,12/3,1/28,4/1, 5/6 and 6/3. So I'm thinking about taking the SAT perhaps 1/28 and if I eff ip take it again on 4/1 and 6/3...actually to be honest, I think 4/1 is more ideal. So yeah that takes care of those. Then we got the SAT II Subject tests. There are administered on the same days as the SAT mentioned above. Obviously, I'm not taking the SAT II Subject Test on the same dates as I'm taking the SAT. So that only leaves 5/6 to take 2-3 Subject Test, most probably SAT II CHEMISTRY and SAT II US HISTORY and maybe even SAT II MATH IIC and SAT II French Listening and Reading. Now....heres the major dilemna. Obviously, most people take SAT II Subject tests after they've completed the course around May-ish.....when the material is fresh....No one (or not anyone sane) takes them during December or January because they still haven't learned the material! So that, for me, only leaves 5/6 as the only day....and maybe even 6/3 for the tests....Now...wow...5/6 is ONE day after the AP US History Exam...and I don't know, maybe I'll feel drained...maybe I won't. So let's assume 5/6 as my SAT II US History Exam. Let's assume 6/3 as my SAT II Chem exam and yeah MAJOR PROBLEM. Now couple of questions:

1) Can you re-take SAT II Tests?
2) Is it ok (does it happen frequently) to take SAT II Tests during Senior year fall (that would leave 10/8 and 11/5) as the dates for Senior Fall.
3) For French (if I take it), is it better to take Reading or READING AND LISTENING?

I know this is a lot to bear and it's even more on me. Don't bother posting some smart-ass comment. I'm really stressed out these days...HELP

My only advice is take the SAT II U.S. History the day after the AP exam. Believe me you will not feel drained at all. You will just walk into the test sit down and be perfectly confident. After all you have already taken the massive essay intensive ap exam. The 80 multiple choice questions on SAT II will be a breeze compared to that. Also you will notice that some of the questions are the same on both. Honestly when I did this I had done so much preparation for the AP exam that I finished the SAT II 20 minutes before time was called and managed to pull an 800. Oh and one more piece of advice. After completeing the AP history exam go home and check any of the multiple choice questions that you are not sure about. There was this one question on the AP exam that I was not sure of and I went home and got the answer to. It turns out almost the exact same question turns up a day later on SAT II so I was 100% sure on it. Whatever you decide good luck.

Okay so that takes care of 5/6 as the SAT II US Day...what about Chem and math IIC? does it matter when i take my SAT? ill most likely take a prac one on 1/28 then another one on 4/1....but waht about the math iic and the chem? there still seems to be a dilemna. i could still take those june 3rd but who the hell takes two SAT II on the same day?

Well I only took two SAT II's last may. It does make it more expensive as you have to pay the $17 fee on top of the actual $8 test fee. Why not just take all SAT II's on 5/6? I can't really help you when it comes to math or science testing questions as I never took an ap class or subject test in those areas.

so let me get this straight...u can take 3 SAT II tests on the same day? is that normal? do most ppl do that? i just dont want to drain myself with 3 SAT II's on 5/6
